蔡英文在就職演說中沒有提「九二共識」，但表示「1992年兩岸兩會……達成若干的共同認知與諒解」，稱要在此基礎上「持續推動兩岸關係和平穩定發展」。中共國台辦聲明說她「沒有明確承認『九二共識』和認同其核心意涵，……這是一份沒有完成的答卷」。
甚麼是中共認為的「九二共識」的核心意涵呢？國台辦說，「就是堅定維護一個中國原則」，中共外交部說，就是「反對『台獨』、反對『兩個中國』和『一中一台』的立場」。
「九 二共識」沒有中共說的這個意涵。即使按照承認九二共識的國民黨政府的解釋，當年達成的諒解是「一個中國，各自表述」，它的意思是海峽兩岸的政權都同意「一 個中國」，但對一個中國的表述卻可以各有不同，台灣的表述是「中華民國」，大陸的表述是「中華人民共和國」。中共對此不持異議，才有共識。九二共識絕沒有 提及台獨、兩個中國、一中一台等概念。但之後，中共硬說九二共識就是一個中國，而且衍伸到反台獨、反兩個中國，卻不再提各自表述；馬英九政府為求與中共發 展關係也就故意由它含糊。但台灣主流民意認為若有九二共識，要點在「各自表述」，而各自表述的主要內涵就是兩個中國。中共要台灣接受中共對一個中國的解 釋，就是要台灣人「食死貓」，在強大民意支持下上台的民進黨，這「死貓」是斷然不能食的。



蔡英文演說使我最有感的是她提 到「年輕人處於低薪的處境，他們的人生，動彈不得，對於未來，充滿無奈與茫然」。她表示，「改變年輕人的處境，就等同改變國家的處境；年輕人沒有未來，這 個國家必定就沒有未來」。不論她其後的施政能否做到改善年輕人的處境，但這段話很有誠意。香港年輕人的經濟處境與台灣相似，政治處境則更「充滿無奈與茫 然」。我們幾曾聽過特府高官講過蔡英文那樣有誠意的話？高官的言行表現是只考慮自己子女的處境和未來；至於香港年輕人的處境和未來，不就是叫他們到大陸或 一帶一路的恐怖主義國家去發展嗎？
