Mr. Oberlander said of the suit: " This is an important case because it
not only exposes how Bayrock, while developing Trump SoHo in New York,

Bitfinex’s mandated limits on withdrawals.
"The theft is being reported to — and we are co-operating with — law enforcement," Bitfinex statement reads.
"We will look at various options to address customer losses later in the investigation" and "ask for the community’s patience as we unravel the causes and consequences of this breach."

Bitfinex is the third-largest Bitcoin exchange in the world. After the news of the Bitfinex hack had broken on August 2, the price of Bitcoin dropped almost 20%, from $602.78 to $541 per Bitcoin, within the day after the announcement.
The sudden dropout could be the result of the latest hack that likely made Bitcoin investors sell off their Bitcoin holdings, leading to a rapid decrease in Bitcoin price.
Bitfinex's security firm Bitgo — a Palo Alto-based Bitcoin security company that allows bitcoin exchanges to provide separate, multi-signature wallets for each user's funds — tweeted earlier today, saying it has not found any "evidence of a breach on any BitGo servers" during its investigation.
Although it’s unclear whether Bitfinex can sustain a loss of that magnitude, the company will address any customer losses following the result of their ongoing investigation.
"As we account for individualized customer losses, we may need to settle open margin positions, associated financing, and/or collateral affected by the breach," the company says. "Any settlements will be at the current market prices as of 18:00 UTC."

正是在「敵對勢力亡我之心不死」的自欺欺人背景 下，迎來了解放軍建軍89周年，紅旗19導彈正是今年的獻禮工程。別忘記軍方反而最渴望外患持續發展，這樣軍內反腐力度就有望削弱。黨政方面也一樣，持續 的外部軍事壓力及所謂分裂勢力，亦有助紓緩國內民怨和經濟不景痛楚，更有利於北戴河會議及G20𥧌會順利舉行，營造中國特色的先軍政治。
軍政、 軍經從來是一盤大棋，軍方炫耀紅旗19導彈及航母，豈會例外？明年中共建軍90周年及抗戰全面爆發80周年，人儍錢多的情況只會越演越烈，甚至可能再搞閱 兵。「外部軍事威脅」只要不是真正威脅，反而有助於轉移人民不滿情緒，凝聚獨裁統治合法性。而先進武器也就成為近年維穩的絕招和救命稻草，只是這一招會否 真的絕了？或者成為壓死駱駝的最後一根稻草？

美國總統歐巴馬4日強力否認付給伊朗的4億美元，是確保在德黑蘭被囚的4名美國人能夠獲釋的贖金。歐巴馬在五角大廈舉行的記者會上說，這並非什麼邪惡至極的交易。他表示，這筆交易是西方國家和伊朗簽署核子協議後，促使其他議題也能一併取得進展的證據。
白宮3日已經反駁這筆錢是為了讓美國公民獲釋而交給伊朗的秘密贖金。在歐巴馬總統主政下的美國政府，未曾支付伊朗任何金錢以換取美國公民自由。
這筆現金是在今年1月交給伊朗政府，而伊朗核子協議敲定、以及美國公民獲釋也都在同一時期。美方表示，這筆經費是兩國在1970年代、1979年的伊朗革命尚未發生前，一筆纏訟數十年的軍火交易紛爭的一部份。
伊朗和「五常加一」(聯合國5個常任理事國加德國)是在去年7月簽署了核子協議，並於今年1月正式生效。根據協議，伊朗同意限制核子計畫，藉此交換國際取消制裁。

The first guiding concept of conflict. Not so much a conflict of ideals or principles, as it is portrayed to society, or admit that this is a community that some expectations. In the liberal mind, conflict of interest and belief in continued conflict is inevitable. Impossible to achieve social harmony, the pursuit of social harmony is too stupid. Harmony is not worth pursuing. Harmonious society means for uniformity, suppression of different voices, stifle creativity, hinder enthusiasm. Liberals believe that the conflict should be recognized, control and use conflicts, convert it to competition. Such conflicts can argue like, experiment, exchange as generating useful.
There are many conflicts between democrats in Hong Kong, there are many natives shot at each other, a lot of people are very worried. But the conflict will play a role in promoting, and only competition, there is progress. Instead, acting baton manipulation, is buried under the surface harmony inside battles. Of course, to make the conflict into a competitive, need to respect the established facts, negotiation, persuasion, compromise habits. And habits, we must first rule out the motivation theory, conspiracy theory, if we do not tell the truth but only to the facts and motives, conspiracy to deny the opponent, it is impossible to conflict into competition.
Ziyouzhuyi second guiding concept, is a distrust of power. People's power, is not self-restraint can not be conciliatory. Expect people exercise power neatly, the same futile. A person or group of people enjoy greater power, whether political, economic or social power, if not by the revolt, repression and balances, they are bound to arbitrary and disposal. Liberals must hold power forever doubt the attitude of distrust of power, refused to obey authority, without any power bloc, single interest groups dominate, but also from Jiang Gu ideas or class domination. Any of the powers of temptation bowed, and attachment, and close to those in power, are Ziyouzhuyi enemies.
The third guiding concept Ziyouzhuyi is progress, that the progress of human civilization expectations. "Progress" this word, a little fuzzy, a totalitarian politics to destroy this world can say that it is the pursuit of happiness of the people of the purpose of future progress; secondly frailties of human nature also makes many people pessimistic about the future of humanity. But Ziyouzhuyi both a practice of progressive liberals must have expectations, will have power for social change. Have a passion for quality and human society may become a better hope, will generate action for change.
The fourth concept Ziyouzhuyi guidance is respected and accepted pluralism. Respect for human subject is a public authority (public power), including the state of the people, rich and poor, majority of the minority of the kind of power. Respect for human rights and against similar nature are integrally sides. State power may appear to be legitimate but ruthless to the people of coercion, may appear to be arbitrary in the market economy, it may appear to be something called the shackles of orthodoxy, such as the identity of the nation. Respect for people who are not required to like each other, mutual appreciation and even caring, it just requires binding on the State, society, the majority, these vested interests "cold monsters" of power, so that anyone, rich or poor, identity, religion, ideology, sexual orientation are protected and respected.
Respect for freedom of the people, why not go with these four ideas to examine how their thinking and behavior?

昨天談到指導自由主義實踐的，有四個觀念。
第一個指導觀念，是衝突。衝突與
其說是個理想或原則，不如說是對社會的描繪，或承認這是對社會該有的期許。在自由主義者心目中，持續不斷的利益衝突和信念衝突不可避免。社會和諧不可能達
成，追求社會和諧太愚蠢。和諧根本不值得追求。和諧意味社會強求一律，壓制不同聲音，抑制創造力，妨礙積極性。自由主義者認為應該承認衝突，控制和利用衝
突，將它轉化為競爭。這樣衝突就能像爭辯、實驗、交換一樣，產生助益。香港民主派之間有很多衝突，本土派也有不少互相攻訐，許多人對此很擔心。但衝突是會
起推進作用的，而且只有競爭才有進步。相反，指揮棒操控的一致行動，是表面和諧之下埋藏着內裏的惡鬥。當然，要讓衝突轉化為競爭，需要建立尊重事實、談
判、說服、妥協的習慣。而習慣的養成，首先就要排除動機論、陰謀論，若大家都不講事實和道理而只以動機、陰謀去否定對手，是不可能把衝突轉化為競爭的。
自 由主義的第二個指導觀念，是對權力的不信任。人的權力，是不會自我約束也無法安撫的。指望人規規矩矩行使權力，無異緣木求魚。一個人或一群人享有較大權 力，無論是政治、經濟或社會權力，若沒有受到反抗、壓制和制衡，就必然走向專斷和支配。自由主義者必須對權力永遠抱置疑態度，對權力不信任，拒絕服從權 力，不受任何權力集團、單一利益集團支配，也不受僵固的觀念或階級支配。任何受權力誘惑而拜倒、而依附、而靠近權力者，都是自由主義的敵人。
自由 主義的第三個指導觀念，是進步，即對人類文明進步有期待。「進步」這詞，有點模糊，一來極權政治也可以說它毀壞人民現世幸福的目的是追求未來的進步；二來 人性的種種弱點也使不少人對人類的未來悲觀。但自由主義既是一種實踐，自由主義者必須有對進步的期許，才會有進行社會變革的動力。必須懷着對人的素質和社 會都可能變得更好的希望，才會產生促進變革的行動。
自由主義的第四個指導觀念，是尊重人和接納多元。尊重人的主詞是公權力（public power），包括國家對人民、富人對窮人、多數對少數的那種權力。反抗權力和尊重人是性質相近的一體兩面。權力可能表現為國家對人民的無情卻合法的強 制，可能表現為市場上的經濟專橫，也可能表現為一些所謂正統觀念的束縛，比如對國家民族的認同。尊重人並不要求人要互相喜歡、互相讚賞甚至互相關懷，它只 是要求約束國家、社會、多數、既得利益階層這些「冷冰冰怪物」的權力，使任何人不論貧富、身份、信仰、思想、性向都得到保護和尊重。
崇尚自由的人們，何妨用這四個觀念去檢視一下自己的思想和行為？
